Was Matt Flynn's Big Game a Fluke?
The writer seems to think Matt Flynn is going places in the NFL.

EPSN Insider article said he has the ceiling of a Hall of Famer and the realistic floor of a Pro Bowler.

I see him as a Ryan Fitzpatrick/Matt Cassel type.

He's good enough to be a Matt Stafford level player.

the author is Josh Levin - from New Orleans and a big LSU / Saints fan. He also runs the Slate sports podcast that ran the piece about Hawthorn getting calls wrong and Tyrann Mathieu's family's Zulu connections.

I cAN recall my father saying Archie Manning would have been a hall of famer had he played for Tom Landry and Dallas during the 70's. Instead he was physically destroyed every Sunday while playing for the Saints.

NFL QB's are generally as good as their coaches and the players around them. Flynn can succeed at that level but he will have to select the right environment for himself.

Haha he's my first cousin. Great guy.. Good writer. Huge LSU and Saints fan. Not surprised to see a positive perspective in his article.
