Need Slidell "quick lunch" recommendations ...

Mrs. Buck is doing some training/consultant work at Ochsner in Slidell on Gause Blvd.
I'm from New Orleans East, but never spent any time in Slidell, so i have no idea where to tell her to find a good lunch in the area.
She called me and asked me to seek the advice of the Food Board, as every time i bring her somewhere you guys recommend, she is quite pleased.
So, what say you, Food Board?

Bad news for you bro, Peck's is closed until 1/10/12 for remodeling.
Tell her to keep heading down gause until it dead ends at Military Rd. and take a right, there's another seafood joint immidiately on the left, Speckled T's, it's pretty good and will keep her close by.
