I was pretty relieved to hear a non-sec crew would be assigned the game. Now with the prospects of a split title (UA & OK St.) should LSU lose, I am a little concerned that it will influence their calls.

no crap. never thought of that. good thing this team would run through germany killing everyone in sight without a single fucc given. i dont think one sided refs will stop the outcome of this game.

if there were to be a split title, it would be LSU and Alabama IMO. LSU would still have more wins than Oklahoma St and would have their only loss be against the #2 team in the country. If the voters wouldn't vote Oklahoma St. over Bama because of the "better loss" argument, why would they not follow the same protocol with LSU? I'd be more concerned if I were Alabama because I'd imagine Big 12 folks are a little pissed to see Bama go over Oklahoma St.

so because one analyst said it "could" happen, it will? Should I link all the articles of what dozens of analysts said could or should have happened before and after Oklahoma St throttled Oklahoma in the Big 12 championship game but inevitably didn't? In reality, the most likely scenario is there will be no split title at all if Bama wins, but LSU has a better chance than Oklahoma St. of winning the AP should Bama win.
