sounds right except this shite where people call team frauds. i dont think you can be a fraud when you are just expected to make the divisional round and lose. if that's what happens, why are you a fraud?

well, they are frauds in the sense that their record makes them seem better than they are.
Detroit and Tennessee are the only teams with winning records they beat this year.

While I don't believe atlanta is great, no one really is putting them on the NO, GB or SF level.

I think he means their record and the way they have looked impressive in some games may make people believe they are a better team than they really are. Who knows tho they could make a run

I think it might be because 40% or more people are picking them to win the game. He probably has a problem that the Falcons would be favored if game was in ATL, but since its in NY and "cold/wet/windy" people are only now pumping up the Giants.

If they get off to a fast start, they can be dangerous. Their coordinators are horrible if they have to play from behind or in a close game.
Their OL is barely serviceable too. Julio Jones is the real deal though.

I don't know of many people, aside from a few delusional Falcons fans, who think that Atlanta is capable of doing much more than winning one playoff game. If he had made those comments around this time last year, he would have been spot on. As it stands, he sounds like an idiot who needs to stick to the NBA.

Simmons bagged on the Falcons weak wins but ignored the fact that his Pats didnt beat anybody with a winning record this year. NOBODY

Winning one playoff game would be a positive step for them.
But I agree with you. Their 13-3 team from last year was the real fraud. I think 10-6 is about where they should be this year.
