I have two different bucks on my property that have 3 points on one side and nothing on the other..i know they are two different deer because one has a huge body that we got on cam and the other just walked under my stand and he was a pretty young deer...did these deer break off the other side fighting? My property is really thick in most parts also, could they have just gotten tangled in brush? And last is there any chance they just didnt grow on the other side?

My guess would be that they got broken off fighting. I saw a nice buck last week in Texas that had one side broken off.

We have several also. One of the members killed a 6 point on one side & the other side was haired over. He never had a horn on that side this year. It's a couple of 2 points i've seen that are broken off.

I killed a 4 pointer that didn't have any rack on the other side. It never did. No bone growth at all. If it would of had a match, it would of been a very nice rack.
