Is the rut still in. Haven't been in almost three weeks, heading to the woods Wednesday.

Good luck out there

In a box stand and This cold is making my nose run.. I need to blow my nose but I'm refusing. Lol.

Box stand is sitting on the middle of a T lane trail that goes from 220 yards one way and about 150 yards the way. Straight shots.

I too is deer less but I had my chances and also loving that. I shot at one yesterday evening but he moved just as I pressed the trigger. It looked to be a 4 point 2 year old, kind of glad I didn't killed it even though I don't have meat in the freezer yet.

Carthage, MS. Tent blind, oldest son in tripod nearby. Plenty of frost, no wind, Hoping someone is hungry this morning.

ETA: 8 AM, one young 4 point (forks no brow tines). Cousin says trail cams been showing a ton of deer in this food plot, hoping they didn't take today off.

Honestly, I don't think does have really started coming in yet. Haven't heard anybody say bucks were chasing hard. Heard a few reports of younger bucks cold trailing but no serious chasing. Just had a 4pt come by feeding.

Hahaha, I left too. I didn't wear my hunting Boots. My toes were killing me. Didn't think it would feel this cold with the wind blowing.

I'll be back in the woods at 3:15. Around this area the deer have been coming out between 4:50 to 5:20 in the evening.
