I do pretty well with the formula that I have been using for years in predicting game winners across the board. No points given.
The first game, I had LSU winning by 2.5 points, so I rounded that to three and won a free T-shirt from workmate.
This game, I have the Tigers by 6.5 Actual score came out 32-25.5. But that seems like a lot of points, considering the last outing.
Often my point spread is dead on, but the score varies a LOT! I think I had the Nov 5 game about 29.6 (Tigers) to 27.
The difference in the score this time is that LSU will not be playing in Alabama. But New Orlenas is part of LSU terretory, so I give the 3 point home field advantage to the Tigers.

The best field position Alabama had all game last time was when the ref gave them the ball at the 25-yard line for the start of overtime, and they couldn't even get any close than that.
Their linebackers are slow. Their team as a whole is slow. Speed kills.

Saban was frustrated with the way the game was going in BAMA, so much so that he called a trick play to try and make something happen, because he knew that the offense could not move the ball.
