I'm here in central Alabama and I am SICK of Charter Cable. Please help me decide on my next TV service provider.

Thanks!

I've never had UVerse so i can't say anything about it other than i hate anything AT&T. But DirecTV is better than Dish, IMO.

My parents have Uverse at their house....I don't like it at all. No real experience with Dish or DirecTv

My brother lives in Mobile and has U-Verse. I like it, though many don't. Pretty cheap, lots of sports channels, tons of movies

I had Direct for years and switched to Dish about 4 years ago. I switched because where I live I could get local channels with Dish but not Direct. Dish has more HD channels I think. Recently I reduced my package from all movie channels down to HBO only because my kids got me a Netflix subscription, so its less money. I used to have the NFL Sunday ticket for years because it was the only way I could get the Saints games until I switched and picked up a local fox channel. Overall, I don't think there is much difference. Just get the best package you can...free dvr, free HD, etc.
