My uncle has a camp right next to mine on HW 56. His door was kicked in and the place was trashed over the holidays. We use it all year long and just happened to be robbed during the week. Cop was able to get a few fingerprints off of some of his shite. They only took some small stuff but we dont leave much down there. I would imagine they got spooked and didn't try to get into mine. Just wanted to let everyone know. Hopefully someone catches these assholes and puts an end to this shite.

Jesus, this is getting ridiculous. you'd think folks would at least not do this shite around the holidays.

I am about a mile south of where 56 meets 57. We have two raised house trailors lifted 15ft. We know a lot of people down there and they seem to think it is the local crack heads.

I doubt the cops can hit on those fingerprints. I honestly believe they were looking for money or guns. They went through all cabinets and flipped the beds and shite. Drives me nuts. They did steal his castaway rods and shimano reels. About 5 of them. Hopefully they walk into a camp when someone is there and they handle that shite judgement style.

some of you may have heard of this but around 5 years ago or so in Woodville, a bunch of thieves robbed all the camps in a hunting club and then burned the whole club to the ground.

My camp is also in Cocodrie, and it infuriates me to think of someone stealing something down there. I can see why though... its a dead end road that rarely has and cops there.
