How soon will the "our backup QB is better than the starter even though we haven't seen a lick of practice" fans be calling for Mett to be benched?

I predict the 1st incomplete pass. They may give him until his 1st int but I doubt it.

I also predict it will be by the same people who thought Mett shoud have started this year.

Not saying I will but it's funny how I hear people already saying Kiel will beat out Mett. I hope Kiel can redshirt.

I don't foresee an outcry for Gunner over Mett. I do see a spirited campaign by JJ knights for Randall to start though. There have already been 5-6 calling for him as the starter next year.

JJ Knights? Did you really just say that? I'm white...I think JJ is better. Just saying. Please don't act like that's not what you mean either.

I'm not white and I think JJ is better. There are 5-6 posters whose sole purpose on this site is to tear down other QBs and lift up JJ. They post only in threads concerning JJ and Lee. Hopefully after one more game we won't have to see them again.

ETA: There are also guys on here who only post to tear JJ down. Hopefully in the future we won't have to worry about this crap, but I doubt it goes away.

There are more than 5-6 posters against both of them. I support both and truly pull for both. My point of the original post was to prepare the majority for the fans who always think the next guy in line is better.

kiel should want to redshirt next year.. learn the system, it'll benefit him more than anyone

you have to let him compete, and if he clearly emerges as the #2 so be it. It will be Rivers and Randall's first spring as well, which will give them their first real reps, they won't have a huge advantage over Kiel.
