I suppose you are referring to HB7 as a 2 star. He was a 4* on Rivals. If I recall Saban did have a #1 recruiting class at LSU. Miles hasn't done that yet so I don't think you can call Saban's efforts there nothing. And Bama has been #1 recruiting 3 of last 4 years. Just about every school except LSU has to compete with another major program in their own state. I wouldn't call Les a recruiting genius.

Oh, you mad. I think a saban recruitment to his school inflates their rating. They are judging talent more and more by who offers them and where they go.

Truth is, la talent has been grossly undervalued IMO the passed couple years and our staff doesn't get the respect of sabans staff.

When are people going to learn? But it's fine with me, keep underestimating miles and co.

Our average recruiting level in the last 5 years is behind Bama's and Saban doesn't have the luxury of depth that LSU has.

What does that tell me? Miles is the best talent evaluator in the business. If he's recruiting you, you're a good one... frick what the recruiting websites think.

difference in CM's star rated players is he recruits them as a 2 then rivals or espn updates their status afterwards to a 4* and they end their careers as a 5*.

whereas most of little NS recruits only 4 & 5*'s so they get the superficial title of winning the recruiting battles...
then lil NS has a very difficult time getting the majority of his recruits to remain at their 5* ratings...

The rest of the country may have a different opinion after 1/9.

but the rest of the world will have an even different opinion of lil NS after he looses on 1/9

Rivals made him a 4* after he committed to LSU. Bama and Tennessee turned him down because of his size. LSU offered him after he lit it up at a camp and the rest is history.

Well I heard today that CLM let RGB3 slip through the cracks. LSU post, not mine. Same poster said you could have had Tyler Wilson also. But CLM took Jordan Jefferson over both of them. I think he made a mistake there. You?

Miles and Saban seem to have differing philosophies. Saban goes after the highest rated players and does not place the sufficient emphasis on his needs. Miles evaluates what the team needs and recruits the best talent available to fill those needs.
