BF3 question

When I created my classes under my soldier, they aren't there when I play about half the time. What is going on? For example, I have M16 and M4 on two created classes. When I play, sometimes those are AKs. Just got the game if that has anything to do with it. Thanks in advance.

Delta has the M4s and shite, Russian forces have, well, Russian weapons (for default weapons anyway)

I should have thought of that. But I can't set up kits for each side, Russian and US, can I?

Nope. Whatever slot you set up on the US side, that slot will be applied when you are on the Russian side

but it should be noted that this only applies to the first gun of each class.
once you start unlocking guns, you can use them for both the US and the RU sides
