Maybe right now. I don't see Kiel red-shirting unless he comes in and completely cannot pick up the playbook.

I wonder where Rivers will fit in all of this.

On paper, but Randall will never start for us unless Mett turns out to be a bust or gets hurt.

Word is that Kiel is something special. If he's as good as sdvertised, he will step in and start when Mett is done.

Kiel will most likely redshirt his first year to get his maximum years of playing time! Mett will start the next two years

People are anointing this kid WAAAYYY too early. He looks to be very good, but QB is by far the hardest position to come in and play well right away at a high level.

Freshmen QB's rarely start, if play at all, for NC teams. I can think of Tebow off the top of my head and that was because he ran the ball so well in the spread.

I think Gunner will jump to #2, but he doesn't exactly have to... He could RS and take over when Mett leaves. Rivers is SOL. He should have never been offered in the first place, IMO.

Rivers is currently ahead of Randall on the depth chart.

Tebow didn't start as a Frosh.

absolutely no way to tell without ever having seen him take a snap....remember, Shep was the best thing since sliced bread ...that is, until we saw him in the army all star game...by half time of that game we were talking about what other positions he could play....

hopefully, we can tell more after we see him play....

Not saying he will start. Just saying that their is a chance he could win the #2 spot.

This spring will be really interesting. If Kiel impresses the coaches I say there is no way he gets redshirted.

I said play in that sentence as well. I know Leak started. Give me some fricking credit

Oh and Rivers will not be ahead of Randall next year on the depth chart. You can take that to the bank.

If what I've read about Randall is true then he has the talent to get into the games part time as early as next season. Not in a timeshare role, but as a Perrilloux prepping for the future situation. Going to be an interesting battle between Kiel and Randall if that's the case, and my hope would be that Kiel is given a redshirt.

Let's just not turn this guy into a Kiehl Frazier. And let's not act like the Auburn fans who wanted to start Frazier right off the bat
