Sry if Germans I just want to bring it up again. We have home field advantage if that flag isn't thrown. 10 years ago the 49ers would have been 11-4.

#1, it was a legit flag. Apparently, the rule that you must touch a downed runner with two hands goes back to 1978. It sucks, but they refs made the right call.

#2, we would still have to beat Atlanta and a very much improved Carolina team. It's not like we just get home field advantage from the results of that one game.

Yea you are right on the rules. Hope 26 doesn't get a fine, that was a great football play imo. Just pissed they lost and that was a game changer.

I agree. Dude got mashed at the same time by two different players. It looked like he got knocked unconscious. But yeah- it's kind of a dumb rule, especially since special teams players are trained to take peoples' heads off at the first possible second they can.

Nobody in my family knew that.
But still, it looked really bad in replay.
It looked very, very dangerous.

I loved the hit. 26 had great instincts. That's a good football play. No doubt about it. IT was violent.

The fumble to complain about is how Jackson let the ball be taken from him at the end
