Best way to record gameplay for <$100

I've looked into that Dazzle HD recorder thing, but it only records through AUX and S-video.
Are there any cheap HD recorders out there besides an HD PVR?

What are your goals?
If you want any decent following on Youtube, outside of the members of this board and your friends, you need an HD PVR at the minimum.

Well I don't really care about having a big following, I just want to be able to watch/edit/upload my gameplay without having it strain my eyes

Most of the time Roxio game capture is ~$80-$100 and it's not bad. One of my coworkers uses it and the quality of his videos is fine. (kind of a plug)

A couple of my machinima buds did that roxio promo, i think it falls right between the dazzle and the PRV in terms of quality.
But unless they have changed recently, I dont think you can play in HD while you are recording in HD, so thats something to consider as well.

I saw some videos with great quality captured with EasyCap. Although with that it's either hit or miss
