still pass rushers are at a premium in the NFL right now, you never know what he'll get told.

He needs to learn different techniques imo. Seems like every time I'm watching him, he just tries to bull rush the tackle. He needs a Freeney type move.

I think one more year and his stock would be much higher.

With the new NFL CBA, draft stock doesn't mean as much. No more insanely lucrative contracts are written. Sam Bradford was the last hoorah, for that.

More and more players will leave early, like NCAA Basketball.

TBH I think Mingo is going to be picked very high. He has Demarcus Ware type of skill set IMO.

I agree Sam needs a Freeney spin move added to his repertoire. He is certainly athletic and fast enough to pull it off.

the flip side of this is that it puts even more importance on being a higher first rd pick than before

Montgomery is probably more likely to go, Brockers is more likely the better prospect

Still a big difference between 1st and 3rd round money.

i can see sam going especially if he has another big performance. i think if randle comes back he will be a first rounder next yr. brock should probably come back unless he looks like pre chop block dorsey in the title game. i don't think we'll see as many underclassmen declare as say what happened to florida in 06, mo is the only shoo in right now IMHO.

I obviously want them back, but if they need the money, you cant fault them for taking it, they have repped LSU with class.

Miles has a pretty good track record keeping bigtime draft picks coming back for another year, unless they are stone cold top 10 locks.
Arent PP and Jamarcus the only 2 that have left early?

Moscona was talking about the possibility yesterday- but this is merely speculation at this time....

If either projects in the 1st they're gone. All depends on what that NFL advisory staff tells them. I imagine Sam will grade pretty high but Brockers is more NFL ready imo. All depends on how we do on the 9th too I'd imagine.

It would hurt losing them....we really only got 1 season from them as starters

I love em...dont' want them to go just yet

most aren't eligible. Claiborne's gone, Randle 50/50 i guess, then these 2. I don't think anyone believes Mingo, Shepard, Chris Faulk or Ford are going pro.

I agree with this, although Sam's ceiling is higher. If he gets a few more moves in his arsenal I think he'll be unbelievable.

Good back, but saw his stock would drop after sharing carries with all these guys this year.

Off the top of my head, Ridley left early. Maybe RJF too?

i like sam but really majority of his sacks come from coverage sacks or Mingo chasing the QB into his arms
