LSU: least respected 13-0 major conference champion in recent memory

Ive watched these bowl preview shows (ESPN and CBS so far) and it seems LSU is the team who should feel lucky to set foot in the dome Jan 9th. On these shows Ive seen 7 "experts" make their picks. 5 pick Bama 2 pick LSU. We've seen this before. LSU is good but Bama is elite. That defense is untouchable. Nick Saban >>>>> Les Miles. Theres no stopping Trent Richardson. This go round its: Bama won everywhere but the scoreboard, give Saban time to make corrections, bama has redemption to motivate them and the list goes on.
They ignore we're undefeated out of the nations toughest conference with a stout OOC schedule. They ignore Bama has played 3 teams with winning records while LSU has played 3 of the BCS bowl teams. This team seems to have a knack for coming to play on the big stage and shutting down the doubters. So come January 10th, let em cry when their precious Alabama doesnt have so much as a division title to hang their houndstooth hat on after the 2011 season. SEC west Champs, SEC Champs, National Champions. Take your pick and we'll send you a tshirt to dry your tears.

just wish lsu fans would quit being such pussies. No one is disrespecting LSU except Robert Smith.
If anything, the invisible disrespect is beneficial to LSU

Not surprised.Bama is in the game. I don't even bother watching the media BS. It will mostly be 3 weeks of TR and Nick Saban suck jobs which can be seen just as easily over on the SECr. The difference is that you can at least reply to all of it over there in comparison to ESPN, etc. where they just run with it. IMO, let them talk Bama up as much as they want. It will just make spanking them on 1/9 that much more fun.

I agree 100%!
Our coach should have won several coach of the year awards. We should have had multiple All-Americans. We should have had multiple players win national awards. We should have been the CBS game of the week more than 5 times. Complete disrespect from the media!!!!!!
