Sorry if already discussed. Does anyone think with McElwain leaving for Colorado State and Kirby Smart being mentioned for jobs and possibly interviewing will have any effect on Bama's game preparations? It seemed to work out fine for us when Pelini left.

Well it has to be some sort of distraction, maybe not much, but it certainly isnt a positive.

There must be some extra tension between Saban and his coordinators. Miles is better equipped at managing these situations, Saban likely has hissy fits

I don't remember exactly what was said, but last week on Finebaum, someone (may have been Finebaum) was saying Nickie wasn't easy to work for.

Its no big deal. Teams are solid in their prep by this time of the year and it's not like they are learning a new system. They will coach the game and everything will be ok.

I hate to agree with the Gump, but.......I agree with the Gump.

Good asst coaches move on to bigger opportunities. It happens all the time; it has nothing to do with any ill-will in the Bama office. It also won't be a distraction. It wasn't for Pelini in 07, it wasn't for Jimbo in 06, and it probably won't be for anybody else.

plus it's not like they're preparing for something that they haven't seen before. In addition, Bama only runs about 10-15 plays on offense

It doesn't matter, the Tigers don't have a chance. The university should dissolve the team. The pundits are right, the Tigers have no business on the field with bama.

And because of this the Tigers will have a chip on their shoulder and kick the shite out of lord saban and his team, AGAIN.
