Hill or Bourque?

Hate to hear about Bourque possibly going elsewhere. Looking at their film, Jeremy Hill seems like more of a bruiser however Bourque appears to be faster and more fluid. Hopefully we can ink both guys, but if not who would you rather have on our roster?

I prefer to have both but if forced to pick one as a rb I take Hill easily. I prefer Bourque's speed and athleticism but at another position. Love Bourque but just don't think he's going to be a good rb at LSU. He definitely has the skills to be one though. Similar to Alfred Blue with more shake.

Hills style and build is much more suited for the SEC

After watching Blue late in the season this sounds like one helluva ball player. If he is Blue with more shake he coils be a monster for us. Les please sign this kid.

I'd rather Bourque all day every day. He has the take it the distance ability on any play. We have a better version of Hill here for at least another 2 years.

hilliard will be a beast for 3 more yrs and then hill/bourque will have 1 or 2 left to play. who really cares with the way miles uses RB's.

If a recruit wants individual honors as running back more than team championships, LSU is definetly not the place to go. However, if you want to be a part of a team and program that is great, LSU is for you.
I did not see any of the RBs that looked. disgruntled or pouty about playing time. Louisiana produces enough SEC caliber RBs, that if one chooses not to be a part of LSU, the program will not suffer.
That being said I think that Bourque and Hill will be Tigers.

I'm not saying Bourque is as powerful as Blue but they are very similar. Both around the same size(6'2 200-205),have the same kind of speed and both have a little upright style of running. Bourque on film seems to have a little more agility and shake to his game and that spin move. Blue is quite agile himself but has patterened his style to the LSU type of running just with more speed. That's the coaching of Frank Wilson. I really like Bourque and was not trying to knock him at all but I just at this point don't see him tailoring his game to our running style. If he does add that ability to take on contact and run a little less upright,he's got the natural running skills to be good. Imo he just is a guy that will be searching for a position his entire career if he's at LSU. A comparison to Alfred Blue is a compliment coming from me. Blue is a stud.
