1. LaMichael James Oregon 149.6 yds/gm
2. Bobby Rainey Western Kentucky 141.3 yds/gm
3. Ronnie Hillman San Diego State 138.0 yds/gm
4. Montee Ball Wisconsin 135.3 yds/gm
5. Trent Richardson Alabama 131.9 yds/gm
I noticed this when they flashed the leader board during the New Orleans Bowl.
FYI, LSU has held these top rushers to an average of 68 yds/gm (54, 63, and 89 respectively)

I guess we killed both LaMichael James and Trent Richardson's Heisman chances as well.

LMJ of Oregon did not play the whole virtual second half and some of the first half because of getting nasty craps and a ankle injury due to having it stepped on bad. Thus we will never know how many yards he would of got vs you if he had been able to play and not be injured...
-For what its worth...
(edit- should be "Cramps", no Craps...

He did. He actually had 96 yards rushing before some negative plays.

Yes, but those don't count. You see, the only reason that Bama lost was because of the field goal kicker. It had nothing to do with LSU's defense shoving Bama's offense backwards every time they got near the red zone. It had nothing to do with LSU's defense being quicker and more fresh than Bama's tired, slow offense during the fourth quarter. Basically, if the game went 2 or 3 overtimes, Trent Richardson may have lost another 10 yards off of his total.

How dare those statisticians take those rushing yards away from him when he had negative rushes!!!!
