vividseats.com. I googled and found them, ordered a pair of tickets in terrace level above LSU's seats. They confirmed the order by e-mail but said they wouldn't ship until as late as Jan. 5. This caused me alarm and I called them.They insist they get their tickets directly from original seller (either LSU or Sugar Bowl Committee) and may not receive them until end of December. I said I didn't believe that and tickets all went out this week, and sounds like thy are wheeling and dealing trying to get tickets. I also have to wonder if they are legit at all.

Has anybody had experience getting tickets through vividseats.com? Appreciate anything you know about them.

Got some for an astros game several years ago (when they were good). Got to the gate and the tickets were duplicates. Had to buy tix outside stadium. Was really pissed- but they did refund my money. They're legit, but not the best....

I did just find vividseats on BBB. This co. is in Chicago and has an A+ rating. I'm a little encouraged by that, but would feel better if anyone here has an OK experience with them.

This is correct about sugar bowl committee tix. They usually get their tix 10 days before the game.

Thanks for info. I now feel I would get my money back, but worry I won't get tickets. I'll post again if and when I get them, to let anyone else know who may be or have ordered from them.

BTW, they claim part of the service fee is because they "thoroughly check their sellers." Possible experience like yours forced them to improve. I can hope, anyway.

Were they significantly cheaper than say a place like Stubhub? If so, that should raise a red flag if the difference is huge.

You may have entered an auction:

Price goes down, you get tix.

Price goes up, you get a last minute refund.

I don't know if this broker does this (called dropping orders), but many do.

No, it was about 25% ($287.50) for $1150 ticket for terrace level. Stub Hub prices were higher but probably lower service charge. Maybe overall it worked out to about same total per ticket in same zone? I'm OK with everything as long as I get inside for the game.

I used Stub Hub for 2007 NCG and did not have a problem. I'm sorry now I bit on the lower advertised price. But don't know that I wouldn't be having these concerns about actually getting the ticket this time around. BTW, I got my ticket last time at $600 per. I can't believe how prices jumped that much from 2007.
