Thats the rumor.
Hearing its auburn or MSU. Auburn is kinda confusing though.. I wonder who his recruiter is there.

Can't blame him if he did, look how young we are at DE with Mingo/Montgomery/Rasco being the best 3 guys we have and look who we already have committed to play DE (Hunter, Feist, possibly Davis).

All joking aside, they are VERY GOOD Friends and have talked about playing together in college. Now that Quay has committed to State there is talk that Channing may be leaning towards State. Plus the fact that his mama wants him close to home.

VERY TURE. He can come in and compete for a starting job at Mississippi State and at worst will get a ton of reps with the 2's

Playing early at State doesn't mean much! They don't do a good job of putting players in the league!

Our last big DE is playing pretty well right now in the NFL. Our last three LBers were all drafted.

Obviously I would love Channing to go to LSU but I don't get the hate for his apparant 2 finalists(not official but it looks that way). Auburn is a year removed from winning the national title and historically have been a very good defensive team. They are extremely young and he could play a lot early there. His mother has a close relationship with Luper on the Auburn staff. MSU doesn't have the same history that Auburn does but they are the home school and if some of you havn't noticed they have a. Pretty damn good DL playing in Starkville. Their defensive line gave us a lot of problems when we played them this year.

This would not surprise me if Ward did eliminate LSU from consideration, since it has always seemed like LSU was not as high on his list as other schools. I have just gotten that impression. I would rather see the Tigers secure T. Davis.

I thought we were looking at Spence for that spot, if we are going to take another DE (or maybe Magee, Tx), if not one of the 'superstars'?

Channing is in Oxford hanging out with the two USP commitments and Liggins. The three of them live within 20 miles of Oxford so they're all staying together. It's an unofficial visit
