2. Epguides
I am especially looking for a site that will provide TV premier and finale dates.

why would you need anything more then IMDB. it is a wealth of information in there. I doubt there is anything better.

IMDB is the best for movies, but need something for TV new shows, premiers and finales

Wikipedia gives you most of that info. google "Show name list of episodes"

IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes are very good for news, ratings, general info.
Comingsoon.net is good for updates like projects being announced/developed.
