Tigers Earn 4 Positions on SI's 2011 AA team

Our defensive line is really being overlooked in all of these post-season accolades. I hope Sam Montgomery is watching.

I think Pro Football Weekly had 3 of our DLs on their AA team: Sam Montgomery (1st team), Brockers (Hon. Mention) and Mingo (Hon. Mention)

That's great to hear. Brockers rarely seems to get the recognition he deserves. He's been fantastic this season.

Do they get any hardware, only reason I ask is TM7 would get 2. That don't happen very often.

I heard a qoute that the Chief said, "I would not trade you Montogery and Brokers STRAIGHT up to John Henderson and Albert Haynesworth".
That's a pretty strong endorsement for these to sophomores.... given that Henderson and Haynesworth were All-Americans and high NFL Draft picks.
True they may not be winning a lot of national awards.... but if they stay healthy... next year will they will shine!

Hell, they shined this year. I can only imagine how BEAST our DL will go next year... Brockers, Montgomery, Mingo, the Freak, Downs... That's one freakish line. I feel sorry for the QBs on our schedule next year.

I know Mo and Tyrann and Big Sam are very special, but Brockers should at least be in the conversation for defensive MVP this season. He made florida's and uga's OLs both quit in the 2nd half.
