Unless I missed them, on LSU Shop.net they have #12 BCS replica jerseys, but no #9 BCS replica jerseys.

That would mean they were producing BCS gear before anyone knew LSU would even make the BCS. Not sure that is it.

I find it hilarious that all of the pro combat jerseys had number 11 on them and then Ware was suspended for the game. Everyone had a number on their jersey that didn't even play.

um its always got to do with the year, on occasion they make special ones like the number 2 & 7, but nike mainly puts the year on it first, go look at one of the pro combats for reference
