Carson Palmer appreciation thread

Me too. Exact same thing.

Why? Injuries killed me at QB this year. I'm also starting Welker, Harvin, Brown, Lynch, Murray, Witten, Benson, Akers, and Baltimore. My team doesn't suck, just had a rough day at QB.

Yup Palmer probably cost me about 1500 bucks in my main.

Hey dipshit, I had Schaub hence the reason for having to start Palmer.

Despite having to play with Palmer the last several weeks I still finished 3rd in a 14 team league.

So go frick yourself.

Man, don't you know? Lester and FANATIC's line up looks like this

QB- Rodgers, Brady
WR- Megatron, Welker, Wallace, Cruz, Jennings, Smith
RB- Rice, Foster, McCoy, MJD, AP
TE- Gronk, Graham, Witten

They don't even start a kicker or Def/ST and are undefeated

Mainly due to the match up. They've both had basically the same fantasy numbers over the last 4 weeks. I just assumed Palmer would have to throw all day so I took a chance on him. In the end, Palmer got me 7 points and Tebow would've gotten me 13. Not a huge loss, but I was playing a guy with Sanchez, Gronk, Colsten, LFitz, and Det defense. I needed 20-25 to just have a chance.

What are you talking about? Injuries killed me this year. No matter what you think, I thought the better play, even though risky, was to play the guy that actually can throw a football. And this coming from a guy that suggested people that needed a RB to start Ricky Williams

I took a risk, it didn't work. I had either Palmer or Tebow.

I had Carson Palmer. If you would've had Matt Schaub and had to pick someone up just in case you didn't think Tebow could get it done every week, Palmer wasn't a bad pick up. Nor was he a terrible play this week. He's averaged 18-20 every week, and I just assumed he'd do that well and potentially better since he'd have to throw so much. I suppose you'd call me a dumb arse for starting Murray tonight too since you already knew he'd get injured. Actually, youd probably never pick up someone of his caliber since your 3 starters are Foster, Rice, McCoy, and have MJD, AP, Lynch on your bench right?
