Thinks we much prefer the GS deal and will complete it, but the LAC deal is the fallback option. Maybe they know something, maybe they are just reading internet articles, we'll see.

It can't happen before Friday, but the consensus is that it will happen shortly after the league is allowed to start making transactions.

PBT and other sites are making that guess because they see how Demps got a bidding war on CP3 and that he's resigned to moving him rather than have an ongoing circus like last year's Melo-drama.

Ultimately, having a winning team is what will keep people interested, but I think Curry would be a great replacement for Paul as far as a face for the franchise. He's a likable guy who I think New Orleans would embrace. Plus with the right other moves in addition to this the team can be competitive still.

He's definitely someone the city could get behind. I hope this trade happens. I'm tired of waiting.

I'd be ecstatic if Hornets could get Curry. He's definitely the number one guy I'd love to replace CP3

Maybe they know something

PR people working on "incoming player bios" seems like an odd rumor to make up if you're just trolling for hits on your site. Also, the only bit of news contradicting a Warriors trade is the ESPN report saying GS doesn't want to give up Curry, but that can't be true. There are too many stories calling them a finalist and they wouldn't be a finalist if Curry wasn't on the table. On top of that, Curry is too good to keep as insurance, it'd be the DC Dilemma magnified.

I think today and tomorrow we'll start to see a cooling off as the bidders try to lower the price.

Then it will hopefully escalate on Friday as Demps asks for final offers. Hopefully we can at least get Wright added to the Warriors offer.

I'd be perfectly happy with Steph Curry.

maybe we should make a billboard for Curry like Orlando did for Chris Paul

Good.

Never cared for the LAC deal, and the fact that they pulled Gordon makes it exceptionally not worth it.

Listening to ESPN Radio and the only team they mention him going to are the Lakers. ESPN's bias and agenda is pretty pathetic at times.

Can't wait to hear them all stunned when the Warriors pull the biggest "upset" in the world and acquire CP3

are we just as excited as they are about trading CP3?

It's sad and pathetic knowing that unless he goes to Knicks or Lakers ESPN "experts" will then start writing threads about how we messed up and should have traded him to Knicks or Lakers.

Once trade is done I'm sure there will be ESPN articles about how CP is still gonna leave his new team and join the Knicks, but at least it won't be our problem anymore.

Read on another board that Clippers fans wouldn't be too excited if they give up Gordon/Jordan without CP signing an extension. I'd be if I was a GSW fan and they gave up Curry for CP without some type of extension.

I was listening to ESPN guys last night doing the same thing. It was pretty hilarious because a SportsCenter report comes on basically saying the Lakers aren't near the top of the list and the show hosts are discussing it with a Lakers coach like it's a done deal.

It was really fun surfing their site the other day and watching some talking head in disbelief that the Hornets would want Bynum, Gasol, and more for CP3.

They're apparently trained to think that every Laker player is a franchise player and not a supporting player for Kobe.

I don't think we will be sending anything else in the trade. They say they will be using the new amnesty thing on biendris (sp?). I think thy will be trying to clear space to pick up more in FA.
