Big Frank has been a man this year. Good friends with my oldest son.

And Elleshoe, people have been doubting this Winnfield team all year (won't go undefeated, won't beat Episcopal, "couldn't beat Calvary if they had 10 chances", etc). My point is, these boys will show up and give it their all. That's been good enough so far

they haven't played a powerhouse like John Curtis yet. Winnfield will simply be outclassed in terms of talent. I don't mean to be a dickhead, its just fact. Curtis is not going to drop this game or allow it to be within 20. And they will probably only throw the ball 5 times. Look at who each team has beat and how they have beaten them. Curtis isn't Episcopal or Calvary. They are closer to West Monroe's talent.

Winnfield fans remind me of Wossman fans in 1993 before playing Curtis. I remember one of Wossman's players on the news after Curtis won 49-0 or so, "We were undefeated and really thought we were going to win again but...shooooot... They won. I mean...They won"

It's like LSU playing Western Kentucky.

WKU was able to get some points, hang in there for a while. But eventaully, the difference in talent will show itself.

FWIW, I hope Winnfield wins.

at them putting up 70 on Jeanerette

Hey SirSaint I wrote on another site that when we saw Jeanerette with 21 players on their team and 17 fans in the stands (I'm not kidding) that I felt sorry for those kids. But they played hard and didn't quit.

I'm trying hard not to sound like a creep but I'm a younger part of the Willis clan from Sikes and I have listened to a few of your sermons

Thanks Ford. We're not stupid - we know Curtis is one of the all-time great programs, and that they are especially good (and huge) this year.
