complete garbage.

LSU's defense stopped Alabama's offense and held them to long field goals. 45+ yarders aren't guarantees for college kickers. Another one of the attempts was blocked. Credit to LSU.

Whats not mentioned very much is LSU's offense beating themselves. Right before the half, LSU got the ball to the 2 yard line before having to settle for a field goal.

Mo Claiborne picked off a pass and brought it back to the Alabama 15. LSU's offense gained 2 yards before kicking a field goal.

Michael Ford nearly took one to the house in OT before stepping out of bounds.

This game could have easily been 14-6. Alabama never got close to the endzone. LSU did.

You realize that any success by LSU was actually a failure on bamas part. Nobody actually beats bama.

But they did miss one field goal by letting their Offensive linemen get thrown in the backfield and the ball swatted away. I think they actually practice that in the off week. Bama calls that a "missed" field goal. Like striking out is a "missed" home run.

Yeah, if I hear, "Alabama left a lot of points on the field" one more time....

How about LSU took a lot points away from Alabama?

Except Bama, of course, and I hope they do it again on Jan. 9th. And they will..at least according to them.

Final score is the ONLY thing that matters.

Statistics are for losers - which happens to describe the Gumps perfectly.

Of all the "stats" the Bammers like to use to make themselves feel good about the last game, the one you will never hear them state is that once they got the ball to our 30 yard line their total offensive production was an astounding -12 yards. I don't know about you guys, but I don't care if they had 500 yards of offense between their goal and our 30...with that stat they won't beat anyone.

I think if you claim to dominate the other team on the field, you at least have to make it into the Red Zone consisitently throughout the game.

Incredibly, the Reid interception is still portrayed as a TD that was rightfully Bama's, but they were unlucky not to get (and that's ONLY WHEN it's actually admitted that it was an interception).

...rather than a great defensive play where the LSU player beat out the Alabama player for the ball.

I live over here with the morons. They really do think that.

I wonder what they'll think when our offensive lines knocks those fat frickers on their fat arse.
