If you were there, you know my meaning.

There were literally 5 or 6 replays the entire game, and most of those were for random plays that didnt mean anything.

it didnt make any sense.

i guess on the positive though, if they had replayed Honey Badger's punt return for a TD, Richt may have noticed something was amiss and challenged it.

still, the lack of replays pissed me off

They were too busy trying to figure out how to run a game clock.

I can never figure out how that can still happen in the 21st century.

ETA, When is the last time anyone has actually encountered a clock failing in your day to day lives? I don't fricking get it.

I know right, you can bump phones and get songs, yet we can't have bluetooth scoreboards?

Were those referees new? The main guy was so fricking dumb it was insane.. He kept saying penalties wrong and having to stop plays to re correct his self and one time he took 5 minutes to get a penalty, and then forgot to mark the ball off 5 yards and everyone just sat and waited.. It was embarrassing!

Yea that game was so slow to develop. Even with all the great plays it felt like it dragged in person with all the stops.

Being low in the endzone really made me wish replay because you couldnt always tell how the play had ended up.

Then when the clock wouldn't work, the guy on the field that was supposed to keep the time, couldn't get his watch to work properly.

no, and there is only ONE referee, the white hat. Now if you count the ref, ump, and all the judges and linesman those guys are called OFFICIALS.

it sure was fan ratio wise. 70/30. I like the georgia DOme but there is way too much favoritism fan wise/ticket wise, with the east teams especially UGA when they are in it. we won so i can complain and nobody can say SOUR GRAPES. it needs to rotate now to new orleans, maybe houston now that TAMU is in??? reliant stadium would be a great venue. neutral field my behind. that WAS A HOME GAME FOR UGA. UGA lost at home.

That was the worse game I have ever been to. The officials didnt know wtf they were doing, the clock mismanagement was terrible and the replays, or lack there of was ridiculous.

Not to mention the game lasted over 4 fricking hours. Combine that with the lack of alcohol...I can promise you that I will never go to another SEC Championship game ever again.

You know how you always encounter some lucky bastard who landed some random awesome job making $100k a year? Well I bet some dude gets paid a bunch to take care of the Georgia dome clocks. He needs to be fired.

Well, I've only been there twice... for this last game, and for the season opener two years ago against UNC. The UNC/LSU game was outstanding.

I can't understand how the SECCG could suck so badly compared to that one. I'm hoping it was a fluke.

After going to Jerry World, this place was crap. I also did not understand why they would not show a replay. It was very annoying!! The clock debacle!! It's a damn NFL stadium and your clock doesn't work??!!

I said the same thing last week, why is SEC championship game always in Atlanta? This needs to be passed around. I really have no desire to go back to the Georgia dome.

Why is this game always held in GA Dome? I believe that we should start a movement to have the game played in the Mercedes Benz Superdome and after Texas AM starts playing it can be at Reliant Field and even back up to Cowboy stadium. Why should GA get the benefits and glory of the SEC championship game each year? I bet they fix both clocks if the game is moved. Move the game around and let us all benefit from it.
