Do You Think T. Boon Pickens..

..has been on the phone all night? That was my first thought after the game. I would imagine that he has been on the phone calling in every favor in an effort to get the Cowboys in. I dont blame him and I really do not care who the Tigers play but I believe an LSU and OSU would be very appealing due to the Miles connection.

He's got some juice and he's making plays behind the scenes. Can't say I really like that part of the process, but we all know it's political anyway.
He can't be any worse than the whores at ESPN.

The Bama Elite will dig into their pockets, too if that is the name of the game. I jus don't think that's how it works.

I agree. That's just not possible. For anyone to try and ignore the fact that Oklahoma State won their conference and beat the preseason #1 team in the process convincingly tells me volumes about ESPN's credibility.

They just figure they can sell the rematch as an Ali v. Frasier and draw the largest ratings ever;
I tend to agree.
But that's not necessarily the right thing for CFB. OSU has earned the right to play in the BCSNCG

+1....And the Miles connection will make the game even more compelling. Dont know if it will happen but if I was a Bama fan I would be very nervous.

It really is crazy how this goes down. If the selection were next week, I honestly believe OSU would have the time to get voters to switch. More of an up in the air thing to me given that they must decide to change in such a limited amount of time.

I meant the name of Gus Tinsley.
He was one of my high school teachers and a great guy. I would drive his truck from high school to Pinnettas about once a week at lunch to pick it up for him. He let me leave class early and always bought lunch for me.
Haven't thought about that in a long time.
To Gaynell Tinsley. He would be very proud of this team.

I agree...but something tells me there will be a meltdown never witnessed by human eyes nor ears bout 7:15 this evening!
IF Bama is left out I wouldnt miss Finebaum for anything tomorrow!
