With Petersen turning UCLA down, they are now rumored to be making a hard push at Sumlin.
That 4mil/yr # keeps getting thrown out there. Could definitely make things interesting because I don't see anyway A&M pays that kinda money for him.

He should go to ASU. Would be a much better fit for him. A&M needs to hire Smart.

No way Sumlin is worth anywhere near 4 million. Talk about over paying a coach. His agent must be loving the bidding war that is taking place. Please tell me it is Sexton.

I truly hope some of these numbers are made up. He should be happy he's getting a real chance but in no way is he worth more than 1.5 without proving himself first.
All that said...if he gets overpaid kudos to him and his agent.
