why the hell not. He was the DC under RC Slocum, it would be one hell of a homecoming in more than one way.

I think people would be a little upset that we fired Sherman for one of the few Big 12 coaches he has a winning record against.

Would be a solid hire for A&M, especially for their maiden voyage into the SEC.

And Tubbs would probably jump at the chance to get the hell out of Lubbock.

no way...Tubby's best days are behind him....after year 2 of Tubby running the ship at Texas Tech...would you say the program is currently in better or in worse shape than when he took over?
