Bama has only beaten a modest Penn St team and Arky as well as losing to LSU by 3 points in overtime.

The SEC is very down this year outside of the top 4 teams and one of those has already lost to Boise.

My question is, if you replace our wins over Oregon and West Virginia with UL Monroe and UL Lafayette, is there any chance Okie St isn't #2 at this point?

No, the media made it by ranking them so highly to begin with.

Yes. As I've continued to say, their best win is a loss to us.

YEs b/c if you really think about it .. CLM intention was to have Lee go in manage the game and play like he has all year. Then use JJ for what he had been normally used for. Then JL throws 2 frickin pics...Game plan out the window ....Put JJ in hope shite turns out right

Wished Ford wouldn't have stepped out. The win wouldn't look nearly as good.

I thought of this a few times. 12-6 would have looked a tad bit better. Not much, but better never the less.

shite I wish RR would have snagged the pass in the endzone that hit his fingers.. or that Shepard wouldn't have fallen on his arse instead of walking into the endzone.

Pump the breaks, they outplayed us.

I contend that this whole situation would be radically different if Michael Ford hadn't carelessly stepped out of bounds. 13-6 looks quite a bit worse than 9-6 and it would have meant less human votes for Alabama.

It has been how impressive they have been winning. BCS coaches and AP polls are strictly subjective until this week.

Then it's who they want to play in the BCS game. Rematch vs no rematch. Based on 2006 OSU has a good chance with a win this week.

Why not blame M Ford for stepping outta bounds or JJ for missing RR in the endzone in regualtion.

Perhaps a little change, and probably mostly in the computers, but given the loss to Iowa State and the fact that the loss was later in the year when they had control of their destiny I still don't think OSU is 2.

How can you say this and advocate they deserve a rematch???

I have not said that I am in favor or against a rematch. I am simply asking if others feel as I do that another conference would be given a chance had we played a soft schedule; but because we represented the sec and beat the Pac-12 North champ and a Big east title contender, Bama is given the benefit of the doubt.

I don't know, but if we had scored one touchdown against them...
