Tastes differ and I am not castigating you for liking him. But, I could not get "into" his schtick. I found him annoying.
I'm not sure if he is gone for good or simply away for a while.
I never cheer for anyone to lose their job. So, I hope he is alright. Maybe he took another gig? The stations almost never announce it. The personality is simply gone one day.

My sister works with him at Clear Channel and said that.
I'd thought he might have been laid off, much like Scott Innis and other in-house talent had been, but no such luck.

I hate can't stand condon, he used to be ok but he will have a show topic that he hangs in front of you like a carrot and it takes him an hour to ever get to it.
Don't listen to him anymore. Hanigriff is by far the best when you can catch him.

I don't know about his particular story, but there's another one I've known about for years that made me hate his arse.
One year, some friends of my mother went to an LSU game and sat near Condon. They ended up telling people about it the next day because shithead's a minor celebrity.
Come Monday morning, Condon goes on the air talking about some family that sat next to him at the game who were loud, abusive, giving their young kids beer, etc., none of which actually happened.
The family called out Condon on this but was told that his show is considered entertainment and, thus, he didn't have to apologize for slandering them.
