I've been holding this in for awhile.

I cannot any longer

OML really upset me with this fail.

Just couldn't help but bump after his

"know all the lines" thread (which I was planning on posting in by saying Home Alone)

I can't wait to see what this Christmas brings since he will have had a year to work on it

I'll finish the thread this year. It will definitely be in contention for thread of the year. I'm just going to wait til the Christmas season.

Bump for Christmas Season.

I kindof hope OMLandshark fails. Seems like a decent guy but I prefer the Christmas tradition of "will he get it done" and then he never does.

In 5 more years we can have a big M/TV board series finale where OML finally finishes the promise and rides off into the sunset.

I wish life was a tv show

I watched 40 minutes of it today and have 7 pages worth of notes so far. I think I'll get about 10 pages and then edit it from there, since the family dynamics are so much more interesting than the booby traps and the burglar, and most of that is heavily concentrated in the first half.

Speaking of the grocery store:

I go to the store by the house, I invariably run into two or three people I know. Where the Mcallisters so WASPy that they knew no one? If Kevin was trying to avoid places were people might recognize him, that means hes going even farther away from the house.

Also, does Kevin have no friends? If this happened to you, wouldn't you call friends to come over? Even Charlie Brown had Linus. Really makes you feel sorry for the kid.

In a thread so full of awesome, not sure why this was my favorite post:

This is like the deadbeat dad who keeps telling his kid "Little Johnny, I promise I'll be at your baseball game today. This time I mean it!" only for "work" or "that divorcee down the street" to get in the way, YET again.

OM, do us a favor and quit getting our hopes up again and again. Just work quietly on your own time, then one day without warning BAM the thread is finished. The way it should be.

- When Harry goes up to turn the inferno door knob, he puts a freaking death grip on the knob and after realizing how hot it is, proceeds to hold it for what seems like at least a good 3 seconds. Freaking fat arse paws will cause that delay
- Our wise ole friend Harry, as discussed before then tries to go backdoor (which speaking of which, we all know Harry and Marv are butt buddies...pretty clear to me as they are both lying on top of each other at the bottom of teh stairs after the paint can incident). Anyway, there is a freaking 1700's style flame thrower device that is attached the door and lights his head ablaze. Again, Mr.Quick over decideds to just scream (again for a matter of 5 minutes) and then decides to move away from teh fire that is causing the pain, and shoves his head into the snow which has undoubtedly caused a weird crust of burnt human flesh and beanie.
- OF ALL the traps, what is the purpose of the sticky feathers?
- Yeah Marv you were in the right when you proposed going back down the stairs. Great idea harry, let's hang from a rope and travel a good 100 yds over to the tree house over a 20 ft drop.
- So Harry, the first thing you're goign to do after you've racked little Kevin to the door is give each of his fingers a BJ? Thsoe are some sick freaks

Oh frick you, penis. You were 15 minutes in on November 30th of last year. So in 372 days, you've managed to watch 25 more minutes?

Don't make promises you can't keep...someone nailed it with the deadbeat dad thing. This is easily one of the most disappointing threads ever on the M/TV board...and it makes me sad.

And damn, I really brought it on page 4. I remember that day...I spent way too much time on that little project.
