If they are truly stupid enough to attribute the money generated to that idiotic logo, then I fear for the future of our PR department. The money generated during the time they've used this logo is purely due to the success we've had in football during that time. It has nothing to do with the logo. Please tell me that no one in the LSU PR department is stupid enough not to realize that. Please.

All mark emmert. Toonces was part of the master plan back in the early 00s. They had that stupid song Welcome To The Now they shoved down our throats. The money spent on all of this was shocking.

I don't know. I was told the shirt was vintage, but it was like new (or never used). I'm holding the cup right now and it has no markings, other than purple graphics of the tiger head and LSU.

It's just happened to come around when LSU got successful. Of course all the bandwagon fans were buying up everything they sold in that time. It baffles me that the school didn't realize this. They just look at the sales vs the 90's and thought "this is a great logo!".
It is dying down bc so many people have expressed their Distain and more people are buying other shite.

It would shock me if our PR guys did not realize that Toonces stuff is the only LSU gear you can buy at Walmart but nicer retailers avoid it like the plague. Seriously, if it's at Walmart, and it's P&G, it has Toonces on it.

Exactly. Like I said, lsu became successful and all of the sudden people started buying lsu shite. There's a reason you don't see people wearing lsu polos, lsu Pfgs, lsu columbia jackets, etc. with toonces on it.

LSU never owned the rights to the round Tiger head logo so it made no money off it. No going back, it's all about revenue streams
