UGA's stats look pretty similar to Arky's.

The strength of UGA's schedule must also be taken into account. When done, LSU much stronger, UGA.....not so much.

UGA can actually run the ball and stop the run.

Better on D, worse on offense, but not by a lot.

I think the UGA/UF game was the most telling.

They had two weeks to prepare, and had film of both LSU and Bama rolling all over the UF defense.

So they decide to throw the ball around? They almost lost that game because of it. Poor game-planning IMO.

That's the idea on these stats. The (+xx.x) numbers are comparative to what their opponents normally get.

On defense, LSU gives up 15.2 points BELOW what our opponents average. So Mike Bobo has to figure out where he's gonna get those two touchdowns he normally has.

Watching the UGA vs G-Tech game on Saturday, I felt really good about this upcoming matchup. We will be able to sack and pick this QB off with regularity.

Georgia's main problem is that Lsu just destroyed the #3 team in the land. They showed that the gap between the 1st and 2nd spots - and everyone else, is massive. People can run their mouths about the 10 game winning streak Georgia is riding, but the truth is 19-10 vs Kentucky ain't a win. 33-28 vs Vandy isn't a win. And 27-13 vs Ole Miss ain't a win. That's called being a benefactor of a weakass schedule. I'm glad Georgia has turned things around, because the truth is I enjoy watching them play ball when waiting for the Lsu games to come on. But to think they are going to win is tomfoolery. The refs would have to stage skullduggery, the likes of which have never before been seen to even give them a chance. Worse that Auburn and Early Doucet, and Bama and PP7, and that roughing the QB call vs Arky this week when they tee off the JJ all day, all combined. You're going to see one battle tested team vs a team that hasn't beat a top 19 team yet.

The numbers support your 14 point margin of victory, but..... as the season shows, once LSU starts pouring on the big plays, and the Off. starts slamming the ball down thier throats, the momentum swings and it has a snowball effect. Then we roll over them...

42-10...LSU

Throw out LSU.

Murray is a great QB. No two ways about it. He broke Stafford's single season record in his 2nd full year as starter without Knowshon Moreno as a tailback & AJ Green & Mohammad Massoquai as a receiver. That's impressive.

What's not impressive is their running game. No 18 year old is going to roll up on this run defense & pound the rock & control the game. Its not going to happen.

Trent Richardson>Isaiah Crowell, and if LSURUND>Trent Richardson, then Isaiah Crowell<<<<<LSURUND

Now, Georgia has two real threats in the passing game. Their tight end Orson Charles should play on Sundays & do well. Their other guy is an 18 year old wide receiver. He's their leader at Wideout.

So what you're telling me is that he's going to consistently beat press & straight man coverage all day? Sorry but I'm not buying your brand there, either.

They do well against the run, but they got trounced against Boise & also lost to a firing-on-all-cylinders SoutH Carolina team that had Lattimore & Garcia.

We are a much more potent offense than that team was & is.

This is another blowout.

44-13, & they get a Special Teams score that gives Bama hope we won't own them in that department again in New Orleans like we did in TuscaTwister.

The TuscaTwister was arguably the best part of the post

Did you see the Palmer and Pollack show today?

They projected that Orson Charles will be the game changer in the SECCG.

That is both the reason you will win and also a misleading fact. This is what I mean:

UGA's actual defense only gives up 10 points per game. Their offense has given up several touchdowns and their special teams as well. Some examples (MSU scored 10 (FG+pick6),Ole Miss scored 14 (trick play and punt return)South Carolina 4 but only 17 on the actual defense. They will slow the LSU offense down for a while but special teams and turnovers will be their death.

This year lattimore rushed for 180 on UGA s dynamic run defense.
