No longer afraid of Bama....

For me, the worst case was an LSU vs. Alabama rematch. I wanted nothing to do with it. Alabama is just too good to beat twice in the same year.
But now, I relish the idea of a rematch. The Tigers are different, don't know how, but they are. And they will win by double digits...17-7.
Plus, I hate Bama and all Gumps and want them to suffer even more at the hands of the LSU Tigers

I agree. I think it's a different LSU team too! For JJ has taken more snaps and his chemistry with the team is coming together. Also, our special teams, more notably TM's punt return has come along quite well too!

It's not that we're "afraid" of Bama, it's just simple logic.
LSU goes to Tuscaloosa and beats Bama.
LSU steamrolls every opponent.
LSU wins the west.
LSU more than likely, wins the SEC.
Bama loses to LSU. At home.
Bama doesn't win the west.
Bama doesn't win the SEC.
Bama doesn't play an extra game risking injuries to players.
Bama gets a green light to go the BCS NG to a team that's been ranked over them all season and who has already beaten them?
Garbage.

It has gotten bad. I wish Chicken would start a childrens' board, then make people show their ID in order to post here.

LaBirdman, they should just go ahead and Crown LSU as the National Champions right? We've already beaten the best and only one undefeated team left, but I'm sure they don't want to see us hammer Houston, lol! When these Bama fans say "roll tide," what they really mean is that the Tide is going to get steam rolled by LSU in the Dome!

If and when Bama is named as LSU's opponent in the BCS game, this site is gonna be cursed by Bama fans for a whole month...thing about it is we(Fans)dont play this game the Teams do, so It doesnt matter what will be said anyway,... and I hope that we drive a stake as far up their arse as possible for the NC!...make Saban leave for Penn State or Texas..thats my New years resolution!..

Agreed...and although some may disagree Alabama did not look "great" vs Auburn or Georgia Southern.
LSU (the team) is ready to face anyone, anywhere... Even if the fanbase isn't. But that's the great thing though --------> LES is the Coach and he will take care of business with a VICTORY
If I were a betting man, I'd place my bet on LES and his **** strong football team. This is not like past LSU teams that have that "down" game. We're getting better and better

I'm not quite sure what you are getting at with this. No, I don't think they should award LSU the title right now. It's a stick in the eye to LSU considering what that team has done this season.
Here's Bama that opened with Kent State, had a barn burner (sarcasm) with North Texas, and Georgia Southern but hey, they're Bama. They have Trent Richardson! How can you deny them?
I don't follow how people can dispute that. If it's a personal opinion, that's one thing, but considering the facts..... come on.
WE BEAT THEM ON THE ROAD. The #2 team. The #2 team. Yes, I typed that twice.
And while LSU plays another game, Bama sits and puts their feet up and waits for the bowl game.
Wrong.

Me too Jeff. And I suspect that the Tiger team feels the same way. Just settle this issue the way it should be, so they can live their lives with no bs on the side.
Still don't like the idea of Bama sitting on it's arse, while we get banged up against the Dogs. Hope there are no injuries.
