Last 9 year results versus oklahoma:

2010: lost 41-47
2009: lost 0-27
2008: lost 41-61
2007: lost 17-49
2006: lost 21-27
2005: lost 14-42
2004: lost 35-38
2003: lost 9-52

Even though Oklahoma is down this year, you have to learn how to beat a rival and I don't think Oklahoma state has done that yet.

It seems that it is a foregone conclusion that oklahoma state will win but imo oklahoma still has a big mental edge over their rival. I think that Oklahoma will win.

As an LSU fan, I welcome the chance to beat alabama again. They played as well as they could and still lost while I think our defense had a B game and the offense was scoring an F until Les pulled J lee for jefferson. We will play much better in the rematch.

For one thing the only scenario worth talking about is if OSU wins, so everyone is operating under that assumption.

Also OSU has looked better all year, and OU is without Broyles and their starting RB.

OSU is also at home

I'll admit for me it's because I dislike Bama in general and want to see their bubble burst?

So it's really wishful thinking ... that and I have OSU reserves so that I can watch the game in person ... LSU or Bama reserves too rich for my blood. Selfish. I know.

Because Michigan ended their 7 year losing streak to OSU?

Baylor beat Okie for the first time ever this year so that takes care of that.

Okie doesn't have Broyles anymore either.

good chance OSU gets smoked by 20-30. OU can be that good vs weak defenses. OSU has had some very close wins over crappy teams.

im leaning towards OU winning easily, but could also see OSU squeaking out a 41-38 win

Oklahoma State's ALL TIME record against Oklahoma is 16-82-7.

Not exactly a rivalry.

Barely, at home, over a team that had their coach fired in august and half their starters declared ineligible for the year.

Even without Broyles, OU is probably a better team. I think OU wins.

I think Oklahoma will win. And thank God so we don't have 37 days of people saying that Bama shouldn't be in the title game.

I feel childish admitting it .. just dislike Bama and don't want to see them have a chance.

I love how Bama played the best they possibly could on Nov 5 but LSU didn't. Comical.

They did. They used most of it to stew over their loss to ISU

All of the argument you are reading is based on the premise that Ok State beats Oklahoma.

That doesn't mean that most people expect it to happen.

I for one think that Oklahoma will score a lot of points in that game. Ok State is going to have to score 40+ to win at least.
