As I was wathing the bama, albarn game today I noticed the condition of the playing field at auburn looked pretty good.

I am sure most of you attending the LSU game and those who saw it on TV noticed the poor condition of our turf. I saw Claiborne slip twice. The field looked terrible to me. Did the team use the wrong shoes? Overwater? Is it worn out from all the games and practices during the year? I though the condition of the turf had improved this year. What do the Ranters think?

It might look good, but I've seen just as much slipping today as I saw yesterday.

As much as it pains me to say it, unless we can figure out how to overcome the lack of sun that hits the field, I think it's coming near the point where we have no choice but to go to turf.

The turf was horrible. Not as bad as the mud bowl in orlando, but close. Everyone was losing thier footing and it looks like Brooks almost hurt himself when he slipped on the turf.

Im with you never thought that I would say it but there has been so many improvements in the synthetic turf and not like playing on carpeted concrete like it used to be . Thus , I would not mind seeing synthetic turf in Tiger Stadium though I never thought I would say that.

The first thing I noticed when I got to my seats yesterday was how terrible the field looked. We should not have this same problem on a yearly basis. Go to turf and be done with it.

Are you people stupid all the time or just today. I was on the field and the turf was perfect. What a joke that you are critisizing the turf

I hate to say it but our field sucks, it's beautiful but the condition or texture of it sucks.

Did you not see all of the players slipping, digging up huge chunks of turf?

Like I said it looks good but everytime our defensive tried to make a responsive cut the ground would give way and just fall apart.

Blame Bayou Superfest. I predict Field Turf in Tiger Stadium within five years.
