So Why Bama?

I keep hearing talking heads say that they thought Bama was the better team even after losing to LSU (just heard it again on GA/GT game). But I never hear them say why Bama looked like the better team? They generally follow up the statement with "Bama just couldn't kick field goals."
What did Bama do so much better than us? I thought both teams were pretty evenly matched. And by using their dumb excuse, you have to give the nod to LSU because we werent having to attempt 40+ yard field goals, therefore, keeping our entire game solid and not exposing a shitty kicking game.
Any logical thoughts on this? frick Bama!!!!!

There is an irrational love for Bama for some reason. It could be that Satan feller.

So the stats support my thought that we were evenly matched. I don't understand why some feel Bama passed the eyeball test more than we did? I didn't see it that way.

Every Bammer in my office claims that Bama did NOT get beat. "Look at the stats!"
It makes me laugh when I hear it, so I try to get them to say it daily.

Pretty sure they're doing this on TV, but on ESPN radio the GameDay hosts (Coleman?) said that after looking at LSU and Bama's games so far they feel that LSU is the better team (at least currently).

Yea, I heard that, too, during the GA/GA Tech game. The only reason I can come up with for people thinking Bama is the better team is because for some reason people aren't respecting our offensive team. Even though the stats were pretty even, Bama had (I think) more big plays on offense. Other than that, maybe because Saban is seen as the better coach even though the record doesn't indicate that. After Les gets his 2nd crystal ball, mabe he will finally get his due.
