Is it just me or does nobody else give a shite about the Heisman this year?

Nobody has seemed that outstanding, and very few players if any have really caught everyone's attention.

I don't know if I'm paying attention less or what, but I don't even care to guess who'll win it this year cause of disinterest.

I never give a shite about it unless a player from my team is involved.

I think that's it

like thinking about Richardson winning it and he's been good, but I just don't equate his year this year with winning a Heisman.

i'll put it this way. we have been spoiled the past 5-6 years. tink about all of the all-time great players we just saw

leinart, bush, vince, bradford, mccoy, AP, tebow, cam, etc etc etc

right

I kinda wish Denard Robinson had caught everyone's attention this year like he did last because he's exciting as hell to watch at least

i love michigan's 2 minute offense, which was basically when they'd just revert back to rich rod's spread option and shoelaces chunking ducks deep

I think it's a close race. All qb invites and Trent. Luck, griffin III, and. Barkley? Keenum? Weeden? Landry jones?

It does seem to be the least talked about Heisman race I can recall.

Well, there has been, but just not at QB or RB, which are the only 2 positions that win Heismans any more.

Justin Blackmon has been unreal this season, and last season for that matter.

Personally I think Mathieu should win it this year. He is the biggest game changer on the field.

I think he would have at least got an invite if he could have stayed off of fake drugs.

He has better numbers than Ingram did in 09, and his rushing/receiving ypg and td numbers are close to Bush's in 05. Bush also had a ton of punt and kickoff returns though.

If I was to vote, just based on this season it would go:
Wilson
Griffin
Keenum
Luck

I leave Richardson off because Lacy does same thing he does when in game. Mathieu gets left off because of suspension.

does he really? I didn't know that, wow.

Still, I don't know what it is, but I just don't associate him with a Heisman winner at all. But that goes for everyone this year in my mind

that Blackmon call early was a good one, as is Mathieu.
