Can anyone tell me how to post pictures without having to go through a link? thanks

That's the only way to do it on this site unless they are gifs that are already coded for like 
Unless you mean make a pic show up rather than a link. Just post the picture's URL making sure it has a tag on the end of it that signifies it's a picture like ___________.jpg. Copy and paste that in the image link message box that pops up.
