Explain to me how LSU is "over-rated"...

Fans can be rightfully expected to support their favorite teams but the Arkansas variety seems to have a total lack of respect for the accomplishments of their opponents. Now, it's one thing to pull for your team and, to expect them to win and another to foolishly disregard and disrespect the other team. I've seen a flood of comments about how "over-rated" or "over-ranked" LSU is in 2011. Please try to logically explain this opinion in light of LSU's:
* Unanimous #1 ranking in every human poll
* Unanimous #1 ranking in every (all 6) computer polls
* Longest win streak in the nation
* Longest win streak @ home in the nation
* 11-0 with one of, if not, the most difficult schedule in the nation.

They really know they don't have much of a chance. They keep referring to last year's game and whatnot as if that pertains to tomorrow. We will make their asses quit just like we have done everyone else.

Actually, I like that they underrate LSU. Everyone's been doing it all season, and so far so good.
LSU isn't the first consensus #1 team in the country to be labeled overrated by opposing fanbases. LSU fans have labeled #1 teams overrated before.

It's called projection in psychology. I say it is just the rantings of an insecure, nervous fanbase who desperately want to believe they are an elite team this year. Petrino definitely has them on a higher tier than Nutt did, but they will remember their rightful place in the conference when they and their team crack under the pressure of the harsh spotlight tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it. The trash from Arkansas on this board will be flushed down the shitter when LSU takes care of business Friday.

They have a chance until they have to rotate their D-line. Our RBs should be able to wear them out and we play keep away the 2nd half.
