Commentors continue to use the WVU game as an example of LSU's weakness on defense. They say that the Hogs have better WRs and Wilson is just as good as Geno Smith. I know our secondary sees this as a challenge to them and will take it personnally.

And much like last year, they will fail.

Wide receivers and quarterbacks are irrelevant when your offensive line can't pass protect. Wilson will be slinging balls straight up and catching them himself.

I highly doubt the secondary takes offense to what has happened like 7 weeks ago. They know they are good, they're full of swagg.

Speaking of fail, please explain how Arky failed to beat the Black Bears by 40.

health of safeties is an issue.

both Reid and Loston are both injured.

Loston is still getting over his concussion from when he hit his head on someone's hip and twisted his neck in the process. Its taking a long time.

Reid is game time decision.

A freshman safety Martin (?), who only played in Ole Miss game and has never started, may start.

They always seem to forget to mention that Geno Smith threw the ball 68 times in that game. If Tyler Smith drops back 68 times he will be killed.

You give the term "buzzkill" new meaning, otto. You and PJ need to go start a two-man circle jerk on the Food and Drink Board because you both are obviously imbibing today.

The secondary has nothing to prove....

Those guys have proven week at after week that they are VERY good at what they do....

STATS!!!! Let it go people...

Whats more important? STATS or winning games and being #1?

And for those that werent paying attention during the WVU game,, LSU was giving WVU a lot of underneath stuff but, didnt give up any big plays..well designed for that type of offense...
WVU is a pass happy offense with no RUNNING game...and no DEFENSE...

But, the talking heads at ESPN makes it seem like WVU was conducting a passing clinic on LSU ...

I am thinking it is pretty dang likely that we see Ron Brooks play back there a good bit this week if needed. Been here a while...has played and practiced at safety.

In the nickel (which is what i think we will be in most of the game...and BTW is our BEST defensive alignment) it will/could be:

CB - Mo Claiborne
Slot CB - Tyrann
CB - T. Simon
Safety - B Taylor
Safety - R. Brooks

I would be fine with that. Brooks will hold up just fine. Loston will be fine to if he is healthy now.
