Love that stat.

But petrino is good at gameplanning. Chavis needs to minimize the big plays for quick scores and we can win this by the end of the 3rd quarter

as much as I hate arky, and I really do, we havent played receivers like they have.

Does anyone know anything about there oline? If they get protection like mccarron did for bama, we could be in some trouble

They probably have problems that could be exploited, but they must be pretty good, as well. Otherwise their downfield passing would not be so strong. I am worried about that.

Not to be too cocksure about it but they haven't played a secondary like LSU's. They faced a good D + secondary in Bama and we saw how that went ( in spite of all protests of injuries, early in the season, new oline blah blah..)
It might not be a blowout (miles will go conservative from the third Q) but no reason to not have confidence in a win.

I have all the confidence in the world Tigers will win..... Arky will not be able to stop our run, we will score at will and eat the clock. Their O line will not be able to handle our D line, our secondary will make some big plays, int's,. .this will be a national showcase of LSU's. continue dominace.... trust me...

Plus the pressure of the D-line rotation by the Tigers is relentless..

Well you have faced a defense like ours and we know how that went

Now account for faster and better pass rush and there you have the game in a nutshell.

You mean the kind that can pile up lots of yards but can't get into the end zone enough and eventually makes a bunch of mistakes because of the pressure of playing from behind.

You're right. We haven't seen that nearly enough. Hopefully we'll see it for three more games.

We lead the league in sacks allowed so we're pretty salty but early our young line was a little leaky. A stat I found interesting is we keep hearing how great your punter is but he's ranked 25 and our punter is ranked number 11. I also didn't realize your offense was ranked 75. I thought that would be higher but your D scores a lot. We'll have to really protect the ball to have a shot.

The line was not good early in the year, but they have improved. Statistically they have been the best @ protecting the QB., sack wise anyways. TW has been hit plenty.

That's an interesting stat. This year though, we have had long drives to score versus the big play like last year.

At this time last year we had about 20 more "big plays" than we do this year. I think Bama leads the SECOND in plays of 20 or more yards and we are around 3rd or 4th.

LSU has given up a grand total of 6 yards on punt returns in 11 games .Scoring offense LSU is ranked 14 th. Arkansas 13th .
