ARKANSAS at LSU

Edward Aschoff: There has been a lot of talk about how Arkansas might have the offense that can finally frustrate LSU. That high-flying passing game might have what it takes to stop these red-hot Tigers. But LSU is thinking about championships and a loss to Arkansas could ruin that. This team has overcome so much this season that now isn't the time for a letdown. It'll be close, but LSU will make it to Atlanta unbeaten. ... LSU 27, Arkansas 23

Chris Low: Arkansas doesn’t feel like it’s received the respect it deserves this season, and the Hogs may have a point. Here’s their chance to do something about that. They’ve matched up well in recent years with LSU, but this isn’t just any LSU team. The Tigers are fast, deep and nasty on defense, and when they’re playing at home, they’re even nastier. The Hogs will make this a close game. But in the end, they won’t be able to protect quarterback Tyler Wilson well enough to win. … LSU 31, Arkansas 24

We know this LSU team can handle the pressure of the big games. Now that the Hogs have worked their way into the conversation, can they handle the pressure that comes along with that position? We saw what happened last year when they finally made a BCS bowl.

I agree wiyh you. This game will be a blowout. LSU will dominate TOP and cause at least 2 turnovers....

For the life of me I cant understand why the national media thinks this game will be close...

It gives the talking heads at ESPN something to talk about to keep them on the air. Deep down I believe they all know what Arky has coming to them.

They don't, necessarily. They just need to talk that way to keep the BSCNCG-cluster topic juiced.

I agree...they have to sell ads and maintain their viewership... you would think that with so many of them on so many shows, that one would come out and call it what it is though... "LSU will blow out Arkansas...its that simple"

They just dont see what we see here locally...and that is that this LSU team is on a mission and extremely focused...

LSU: 38
Arkansas: 17 (with a mop up TD at the end)

and that's what makes me smile. NO matter what the "experts" say, the "fans" say, or anyone else says, this TEAM believes they can compete with anybody.
