It looks like he's dead in the garage in the preview for next week.

Two shots to the center mass and both were pass throughs (blood spatter on the back wall). I might have to quit watching it if he's still alive. This season has started to get a little ridiculous with the shite that they've done (especially the cartel/RPG/minefield scene).

It was in the garage and he isn't holding his shoulder.

NEXT WEEK SPOILER PIC BELOW

I saw that. How the hell does he get to the garage?

I fricking hate Clay. Making Opie miss the kill shot or not emptying his mag, like he did with Georgie in the trunk, is a complete cop out on Sutter's part.

Jax carries him... It makes the "Niners" attempt to kill Clay more believable if Clay is outside, and not at the table inside the clubhouse... IMO of course

And puts him on the floor? Is this a cover up?

ENOUGH ALREADY!
They've turned Juice into a lying sack of shite. They've turned Otto into a snitch.
They've turn Opie into the worst fricking marksman on the planet.

Its maddening!

I believe the black cop helps Juice get out of his situation, some how.

Agreed... Sutter has had some letdowns this season... the war in the desert scene was a LOL moment for me

Clay is dead. Jax and Opie carry him into the garage to facilitate the cover-up, IMHO.

As much for the club as for the authorities.

Next question: Does this cancle the meet w/ the Irish? Does this foil the Fed's plans (roundup?)for a short while?

Yea you could see he was surprised that "juice" came through, because he knows theat Potter is going to screw Juice over.
He'll probaly help juice somehow

Here's my problem with him being dead...

Why the poor shooting on Opie's part? Why put that in the script if Clay is going to die from the shooting? Doesn't make any sense. Put two in the 10 ring for the effect.

Was he looking at Jax when he fired the shots? I thought he was looking at Jax daring him it, could be wrong though.

It was pretty quick and I didn't rewind to check it. Still... even more so... how bad arse would it have been to have Opie looking directly at Jax when he puts two in a middle of Clay's heart??

I don't know. To me... if you want to say "frick YOU AND DIE!" in a movie... you do it with some good kill shots.... between the eyes, in the heart, bloody squirting neck shots, etc. You know what I mean.

The special effects of the shot look to be deliberately non-fatal wounds. Maybe they'll just have Clay talk a bit before he checks out.

I'll lay down money he isn't dead. This will just result in a club split story line for next season

I think he's dead, and the question will be how to explain it. I think Jax and Uncer make it seem to be someone else.

Clay being dead leads Jax to stay in Charming and have to deal with Potter and the ATF, the Cartel, his ex and Tara, Opie, Gemma, the letters, Tara and his ex, Tara and Charming, Bobby, Juice, and Otto. Lots of shite to stretch out at least another season.

Would you guys have liked a Departed-like finish to the episode?

Opie shoots and kills Clay
Jax shoots and kills Opie

and I'll say it again....Clay is alive. Jax is gonna be the one to take him out.

I don't know, it seems like too many characters have been killed off or locked up already. Jax, Tig, and Chibbs would be the only ones left after Halfsack, Opie, Clay, and Piney were killed and Bobby gets locked up. Something has to happen with Juice too.

imo, this allows clay to slowly bleed out. This gives him time to utter some meaningful words to Jax as he dies at the beginning of the next episode.

Exactly. Clay dies next week, but not instantly from the shots. This gives time to have some final words and what not said to Jax and the club.
