I cannot believe that Gary Danielson is campaigning

for a split NC should LSU go undefeated and plays Alabama. That was followed with Finebaum saying- I don't understand that philosophy, why would you believe that LSU would want to celebrate an AP #1 ranking, right after Alabama just finished beating them.
I know that we still have the hogs and its not going to be easy to beat them. I really liked Danielson- but that is Bull Chit. LSU beats bama twice- how the heck can you call for a split NC. I did not misunderstand what was said. That rectum mushmouth started that chit during the 2003 NCG

I didn't actually hear this, but it seems obvious that he's referring to a scenario in which Bama wins the rematch. I agree that there should be a split title scenario if both teams finish with one loss

I think he meant if LSU would lose to Bama in the BCSNCG. LSU the AP, Bama the crystal. But we wouldn't lose to the gumps...so all that bs is for naught....

Split only if Bama wins the rematch. Both teams will have won 1 of the 2 games against each other.
No split if LSU wins the rematch. LSU will have won 2 of the 2 games against each other.

I think GD was trying to say the AP would keep LSU at #1 if Bama won the BCSNC over LSU. His reasoning being a split in the wins 1-1. Gary and Verne have always hated Alabama. Just another way to take a shot at us.

Did Danielson say anything about what will happen if Arkansas beats LSU? I know he talked about it during the Arkansas game and on his post game show, but that was before all that shite happened and Arkansas moved up to #3.
